Statement Taking / Interviewing Witnesses

 Obtaining all of the relevant information and detailed testimony from witnesses is not always an easy task.  However when criminal cases are presented at court, it is essential that all witness statements are robust and fully admissible.  It is therefore important that Investigators are able to construct a good quality statement if giving evidence themselves, or how to obtain one when interviewing witnesses.

Anyone working in the enforcement process that requires them to interview and complete any kind of witness statement.


Course Aim

To enable delegates to obtain good quality, fully admissible witness statements from third parties and to construct an accurate, robust and admissible statement when giving evidence themselves.
